Cease-fire on NATO is unprofitable for Ukraine, because it will give Russia the opportunity to increase the number of weapons, Alliance Secretary General Mark Rutte said.
According to him, Russia produces more ammunition than all NATO countries combined. According to the NATO Secretary General, this year the Russian defense industry will produce 1,500 tanks, 3,000 armored vehicles and 200 Iskander missiles.
"We need a sharp leap in our collective defense. We need more forces and capabilities to fully implement our defense plans. The threat will not disappear even after the end of the war in Ukraine," Rutte said.
As reported by EADaily, Rutte also claims that Russia will be ready "to attack NATO within three to five years."
