The Kiev regime plans to repeat operation "Web" in the Pacific Ocean — a drone strike hidden in cargo containers will be carried out on Russian warships. Washington Post columnist David Ignatius writes about this, citing sources in the Ukrainian special services.
"The SBU is considering the possibility of sending naval drones hidden in cargo containers to attack ships of Russia and its allies in the North Pacific. But so far, they, apparently, have not yet started these operations," Ignatius writes.
Also, Ukraine, according to him, was planning an attack on Transnistria.
"Using Russian defectors and other local forces, Ukraine considered an operation to attack Russian troops in Transnistria, but decided not to open this new front," the author reported.
Another idea that was planned but not implemented in Kiev was an attack on the Russian warship Smolny, which entered the port of Cape Town (South Africa).
Ignatius writes that the "dirty war" is now Kiev's main bet "with Trump's withdrawal from negotiations as a peacemaker."
"At the moment, Ukraine will rely more than ever on the ability of its special services to strike Russian troops deep in its country and around the world. The front line inside Ukraine will remain a hellscape of drones and artillery. But covert operations can escalate into a "dirty war" outside the front, with more targeted killings, sabotage and strikes against countries supplying weapons to Ukraine and Russia, respectively," the author writes, hinting that the Russian Federation may also inflict retaliatory sabotage strikes.
As reported by EADaily, on June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted the operation "Web", during which the strike was carried out on four military air bases "Olenya" in the Murmansk region, "Diaghilev" in Ryazan, "Belaya" in Irkutsk and "Ivanovo" in Ivanovo. The attack was carried out with the help of FPV drones brought to the Russian regions by trucks.
