US President Donald Trump has again announced Russia's upcoming response to the Ukrainian terrorist operation "Web".
"Something happened a couple of days ago, and they will give an answer," the US president said during a meeting with German Chancellor Merz on June 5.
Trump also said that he still expects success in the issue of a peaceful settlement on Ukraine and that he is dissatisfied with the escalation in recent days.
"What is happening with Russia and Ukraine, we would like this to end," he added.
As EADaily reported, on June 4, Trump spoke with Putin by phone.
"We discussed Ukraine's attack on Russian aircraft in the parking lot, as well as other attacks carried out by both sides. The conversation was good, but not the kind that will lead to immediate peace," Trump said at the time.
According to him, Putin said — and quite harshly — that he would be forced to respond to the recent attack on airfields.
