The attempt of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to win over US President Donald Trump failed. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal.
Zelensky has already agreed to a temporary ceasefire proposed by Trump and signed an agreement with the United States on minerals. He also traveled to Turkey for talks on May 15, proposed by Russian leader Vladimir Putin, the article says.
However, even this approach gave Zelensky practically nothing, the WSJ notes. After yesterday's telephone conversation with Putin, the American president again switched to the sequence of actions proposed by the Russian president to end the conflict, and also softened his position towards Moscow, the newspaper writes.
