Donald Trump's special Representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, wrote on social networks that he did not support the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin to hold talks on May 15 in Istanbul before the ceasefire agreement.
For full-fledged Russian-Ukrainian peace talks, Kellogg added, an unconditional 30-day truce must first be declared, followed by comprehensive agreements. Only in this order, and not vice versa.
EADaily reminds that on May 11, Putin offered Kiev to resume negotiations, and without any preconditions. Vladimir Zelensky has already responded to this with an ultimatum.
