Zelensky responded with an ultimatum to Putin's proposal for peace talks

In response to the proposal of Russian President Vladimir Putin to hold peace talks on May 15 in In Istanbul, Vladimir Zelensky issued another ultimatum.

As reported by "СТРАНА.иа "Kiev is ready for negotiations only if Moscow fulfills the ultimatum on a cease-fire.

"We expect Russia to confirm the ceasefire — complete, long—lasting and reliable — starting tomorrow, May 12, and Ukraine is ready to meet," Zelensky said.

EADaily reminds that Vladimir Putin expressed readiness for negotiations with Ukraine without any conditions. In turn, French President Emmanuel Macron also found Putin's proposal for a peaceful meeting insufficient.
