The Kiev regime will agree to a three-day truce announced by Vladimir Putin, under pressure from Washington. Such conclusions are drawn by the Ukrainian telegram channel "Resident" from the statement of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.
"The Trump administration has been putting the squeeze on the President's Office for a three—day truce, so far the information has not been announced, but general theses have been given, but there will be no mass air strikes on Russian territory," the Resident writes. He draws such conclusions from the message of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.
He wrote in the telegram channel that he had discussed the truce with the special representatives of the US President Steven Witkoff and Keith Kellogg, the diplomatic adviser to the French President Emmanuel Bonn, the adviser to the British Prime Minister Jonathan Powell and the adviser to the German Chancellor Gunther Zautter.
"The Kremlin's proposal for a three—day truce is not about peace, but about the safe conduct of a parade in Moscow. This is a political manipulation," Andrei Ermak wrote.
At the same time, the "Resident" notes, there were no statements that Ukraine would not adhere to it in the message of the head of the Presidential Office.
"Also, according to Yermak, they discussed "the use of possible instruments of pressure on Russia in case of refusal to accept the proposal for a cease—fire or violation of the agreements on complete silence,"the "Resident" added.
On the eve of Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a three-day truce, which will be observed by the Russian army.
"By the decision of the Supreme Commander-in—Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, based on humanitarian considerations, on the days of the 80th anniversary of the Victory — from zero hours from 7 to 8 May to zero hours from 10 to 11 May - the Russian side declares a truce. All military operations are stopped for this period. Russia believes that the Ukrainian side should follow this example. In case of violations of the truce by the Ukrainian side, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will give an adequate and effective response," the Kremlin said.
