Press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov succinctly commented on the desire of French leader Emmanuel Macron to talk with Vladimir Putin. This is reported by the telegram channel "Pool No. 3".
"He had said before that that he was ready to communicate with Putin, but at the same time he did not take any real steps in this direction. On the contrary, France took a position rather in favor of continuing the war by any means," Peskov believes.
The official representative of the Kremlin also found it difficult to predict the future position of Europe, since it is necessary to take into account the contacts of Brussels and Washington.
"Given the sudden dynamics in Russian-American relations in general, we'll see, time will tell," Putin's spokesman added.
EADaily previously also informed how Peskov commented on Zelensky's appearance.
