A large bruise on the hand of US President Donald Trump has caused speculation about his health, but the White House has already issued its own version — allegedly the president has to shake hands with a lot of people. Details are reported by SkyNews.
Donald Trump's right hand, apparently, was bruised when he was photographed during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, which immediately caused speculation on social networks about the health of the leader of the States. Plus, 78-year-old Trump, who began his second term in the White House last month, has not yet released a full medical report on his health status.
The White House said that the large bruise that appeared on Donald Trump's hand was due to the fact that he shook too many hands. According to NBC News, redness and bruises on the American leader's right hand were also observed in August and November last year.
"President Trump is a man of the people, he meets with more Americans every day and shakes their hands more often than any other president in history. His commitment is unwavering, and he proves it every day," said White House Spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt.
"President Trump has bruises on his arm because he is constantly working and shaking hands all day, every day," she said in a later statement.
