State Duma deputy General Gurulev will be expelled from the defense committee

State Duma deputy from United Russia Andrei Gurulev wants to be removed from the defense committee of the lower house of parliament, the relevant draft resolution was submitted by the rules commission, it will be considered at the plenary session on February 11.

"To withdraw State Duma deputy Andrei Viktorovich Gurulev from the State Duma Committee on Defense and introduce him into the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self—government," the draft resolution says, RIA Novosti reports.

The issue is planned to be considered at the plenary session of the State Duma on February 11.

Recall that Gurulev is known for loud statements, in particular, he proposed dropping nuclear bombs on the United States and Europe and reviving the Russia's GULAG system.
