"The cessation of wood imports from Russia has increased the demand for domestic wood. This has led to an increase in wood prices by almost 10%," the experts inform.
The cost of basic timber on the Finnish market has already increased by 20% with an increase in the volume of deforestation of private forests last year by 11 million cubic meters to a total of 65 million cubic meters.
