Protesters went to anti-government rallies in major cities of Georgia demanding new elections and the release of those detained at demonstrations. This is reported by TASS.
It is reported that traffic in the center of Tbilisi on Rustaveli Avenue, where the parliament is located, was blocked. The demonstrators gathered for a rally for the 60th time in a row. In addition, they were joined by demonstrators who were walking from Tbilisi State University, which is about 2.5 km away.
Protest actions are also taking place in Batumi, Zugdidi and Kutaisi. Their participants make the same demands.
