Security Council of Belarus: The West is preparing shock offensive groups of troops

In the countries neighboring Belarus, the infrastructure is being prepared "to create an offensive grouping." This was stated by the head of the Belarusian Security Council Alexander Volfovich.

According to him, under the "Defender of Europe" series, the issues of creating strike groups have already been worked out, and at the last exercise, held in 2024, the issues of conducting an operational strategic offensive operation "aimed at seizing the territory of Belarus and the western regions of the Russian Federation" were worked out. At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that military budgets have been increased in almost all NATO member countries, including the republic's closest neighbors — Poland and the Baltic States.

"In neighboring countries, infrastructure is also being prepared "to create an offensive grouping ... not at all defensive in nature," he stressed.

It should be recalled that Minsk has repeatedly stated about the aggressive plans of Western countries towards Belarus. At the same time, the Belarusian authorities emphasize that the country is ready for any development of the situation.
