US President Joe Biden called Russia's response to strikes deep into its territory with Western weapons "terrible".
"At night, Russia carried out a terrible air attack on Ukraine," Biden said, quoted by the White House press service.
In his opinion, Russia's strikes "serve as another reminder of the urgency and importance of supporting" Kiev, TASS reports.
As EADaily reported earlier, Biden said that Russia's latest strikes on Ukraine, in particular the attack on Ukrainian facilities on Thursday night, indicate that it is necessary to continue supplying Kiev with weapons, including air defense systems. According to the US president, the Pentagon "continues to increase other critical capabilities for Ukraine, including artillery, missiles and armored vehicles."
On the eve of the Russian President Vladimir Putin at the CSTO summit in Astana, saying that over the past two days Russia has launched a comprehensive strike on Ukraine using Kalibr, Dagger and Zircon missiles, as well as a hundred drones, stressed that it was "also a response to the incessant strikes on the Russian territories with American ATACMS missiles." In addition, Putin said that if the Kiev regime has nuclear weapons, Russia will use all the means of destruction it has.
