Donald Trump, who won the US presidential election, may start a fight with those who criticized and persecuted him, writes the British tabloid Mirror, citing a source.

"Now Trump is reveling in his success (in the presidential election) and finally exhales due to the fact that criminal cases against him will stop. But he is still very angry about the treatment of him. Trump has always been vindictive and don't expect any other manifestations from him when the celebration is over," the publication quotes the source as saying.

As noted in the publication, Trump has repeatedly made threats against his political opponents during the presidential campaign. Among the possible targets of the Republican, the newspaper names former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, former speaker of the lower house of the US Congress Nancy Pelosi and even Trump's rivals in the elections from the current administration — US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

In addition, the winner of the presidential election may launch an attack on the US judicial system in retaliation for criminal prosecution. Of particular concern is the possible appointment of an ardent opponent of the Democrats, Mike Davis, to the post of attorney general, the publication emphasized.

Earlier, Politico newspaper wrote that former US President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State and his rival in the 2016 elections Hillary Clinton, as well as the founder of Facebook, could also become targets of Trump's revenge.* Mark Zuckerberg.

Trump became the first ex-president to be prosecuted, and, accordingly, the first election winner in American history to be prosecuted. Trump has been charged with a total of 91 charges in four criminal cases, which the Republican politician called an attempt by the Democratic establishment to prevent him from returning to the White House. The most serious articles threaten Trump with 20 years in prison. If the punishment is determined by the method of adding terms, then he can be sentenced to 700 years in prison. At the same time, according to the American media, the US Department of Justice will most likely have to stop the case against the winner of the presidential election, RIA Novosti clarifies.
