Scattered formations remained from the Ukrainian army, the APU no longer exists. This was stated on the air of the Judging Freedom YouTube channel by ex-Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas McGregor.
"Conditions on the battlefield on Ukraine is really terrifying. They are losing thousands and thousands of people unnecessarily and meaninglessly. This is no longer an army, as one might think — these are formations and units aimed at the west to avoid defeat," said McGregor, quoted by RIA Novosti.
These fleeing units are being pursued by the Russian Armed Forces, which are acting extremely deliberately and carefully to avoid unnecessary losses, the expert noted. And the absence of Ukraine's effective air defense system enables Russia to launch airstrikes from which the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not be able to recover.
"Everything is over in Ukraine, and I think that everyone in Europe already understands this," the colonel summed up.
