The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia expects a noticeable increase in payments by Russians for housing and communal services next summer. We are talking about an increase of 12%. This information is reported today, September 30, by RIA Novosti.
"In 2025, the indexation of the aggregate payment of citizens will be formed from the projected inflation and the rate of change in prices (tariffs) in the gas supply sector and in the electric power industry… Taking into account these factors, the index of citizens' utility bills is projected at 11.9% in 2025, 5.4% in 2026, 4.8% in 2027," the official forecast, taken into account in the draft budget for 2025, as well as for 2026-2027, says.
EADaily reminds that the draft federal budget has already been sent for approval to the relevant State Duma committee.
According to the document, in 2026, electricity for the population, on average, will rise in price by 5.2%, and in 2027 — by 4%. Gas tariffs will increase by 10.3% from July 1, 2025.
