Moscow is losing patience and may use nuclear weapons — Medvedev

Western politicians do not believe that the Russian Federation will seriously respond to possible missile strikes "deep into the territory." In their opinion, the Russians only talk a lot about responding with weapons of mass destruction, but do nothing.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, discusses this in his Telegram channel on September 14.

"The Russians will not cross the line. They're just scary. They don't need a nuclear conflict, they can lose more, including the support of the global South. And anyway — who needs the apocalypse? Well, and so on in the same spirit," he outlines the opinion of the West.

The ex-president admits that no one really needs a nuclear conflict, as it is "a very bad story with a very difficult outcome." That is why Moscow has not yet made a decision on the use of nuclear weapons.

At the same time, the ex-president points out that there is already a formal reason for this. And it fits into the Russian doctrine of nuclear deterrence.

"The same Kursk, for example. But Russia is being patient. After all, it is obvious that a nuclear response is an extremely difficult decision with irreversible consequences," the politician states.

However, the most rabid opponents of Russia (whom the author called "pompous Anglo-Saxon bastards") do not want to admit that any patience comes to an end.

"And that's when it's all... Holy shit! It's impossible, but it happened*," concludes the author of the post.

As EADaily reported, the White House did not inform about the permission of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack Russia with foreign long-range weapons following a meeting between US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
