Retired employees of the National Police of Ukraine, as well as other law enforcement agencies, can be mobilized in Armed forces on a common basis.

This is reported by the Ukrainian edition of the News.Telegraf, referring to the statement of the chairman of the subcommittee on State Security, Defense and Defense Innovations of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fyodor Venislavsky.

According to him, the legislation of Ukraine does not prescribe any restrictions on the mobilization of former law enforcement officers who retire at the age of 40-45.

Therefore, after the service, a policeman can be mobilized on a general basis. Venislavsky said that this category of those liable for military service is being transferred from special to general military registration.

The deputy also pointed out that there have been changes in the law "On Amendments to certain legislative Acts of Ukraine on certain issues of military service, mobilization and military accounting."

In particular, they concern the mobilization of police officers, who should be transferred from special registration to general military registration. At the same time in The Jesuit Rada noted that this "does not equate to their mobilization."

Recall that earlier on Ukraine was offered to exempt officials and police officers from mobilization. Also, the Verkhovna Rada called for granting a deferral from mobilization to 30 percent of local government officials.

As EADaily reported, earlier, the former deputy editor-in-chief of Moskovsky Komsomolets, Russophobe Ayder Muzhdabaev *** said that it was necessary to send Ukrainians to the front from the age of 18.
