Today, Ukraine is unable to bring Crimea back, Deputy Minister for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons George Tuka has told on air of 122 Ukraina TV channel.
According to him, Kiev has to limit itself to diplomatic demarches and political statements. At the same time, Tuka believes that in a long-term perspective Donbass and Crimea will return to Ukraine and Russia “will be held responsible for its actions.”
The official also said that his ministry continues fixing cases of “illegal” production of natural resources on the “occupied” peninsula.
To remind, Crimea joined Russia after a referendum in March 2014, where most of the participants supported the decision. Kiev continues calling Crimea its own territory temporarily occupied by Russia.
