Another “general, sustainable and termless ceasefire” in Donbass announced on March 5 failed to last even several hours, the press office of the Donetsk People’s Republic mission to the Joint Center on Control and Coordination reports.
At 11:10 a.m. Ukrainian forces fired at the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic towards the settlements of Vodyanoye and Leninskoye, the statement runs. The first breach of the ceasefire was fixed even earlier, at about 04:30 a.m.: a Ukrainian sniper fired at a snow removal machine that was driving in northern Gorlovka.
Although the servicemen who were in the vehicle were not hurt, formally it can be stated that the widely announced truce failed to live even for five hours.
