Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko hopes that Russian troops will soon be withdrawn from Transnistria.
During a meeting with a newly appointed Ambassador of Moldova to Ukraine Ruslan Bolbocean, Poroshenko expressed hope for political stability and new Moldovan regime in Transnistria.
The sides also discussed the peace process and the roles of Ukraine and Moldova in ensuring security in the region.
Poroshenko and Bolbocean also stressed the need to coordinate efforts towards European integration and association with the European Union.
