President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has appointed Ivan Gnatishin as Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova. A decree on the appointment is available on the website of the Ukrainian president.
Gennady Altukhov occupied the position of the acting charge d’affairs of Ukraine since December 14 2014. The previous ambassador f Ukraine to Moldova was Sergei Pirozhkov.
Previously, Gnatishin was the chief aid of the Ukrainian foreign minister.
