President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Vladimir Putin on his birthday. This was announced today, October 7, by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Your fruitful and creative activity is an example of responsible and selfless service to the Fatherland. Your inherent patriotism, strategic vision and determination contribute to the consistent defense of national interests, the preservation of the unity of citizens, as well as the unconditional adherence of the Russian Federation to the path of sovereign development," the message of greetings reads.
Lukashenko noted that "he highly appreciates Vladimir Putin's unwavering attitude towards strengthening fraternal ties between Minsk and Moscow."
"The intensive Belarusian-Russian dialogue, the expansion of trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of joint projects confirm the common aspirations of our states and the relevance of union building. I am convinced that the trusting relations that have developed between us will allow us to continue to speak from common positions on issues of bilateral and international agendas," the President of Belarus stressed.
Alexander Lukashenko also wished Vladimir Putin "health, happiness and success in all endeavors for the benefit of Russia and its people."
