A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is not planned at the CIS summit in Turkmenistan, although contact cannot be ruled out during the events. This was announced by Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
"There are no specific agreements on Pashinyan's possible trip to the Russian Federation, so far there are not even diplomatic contacts on this subject," Ushakov said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Turkmenistan on October 8-9, where he will take part in the summit of the CIS heads of state. Putin will also take part in a forum dedicated to the environmental problems of the Caspian region. Vladimir Putin is also scheduled to meet with Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian on October 9.
