As part of the heavy assault robotic complex "Sturm", an unmanned tank appeared, which received a panoramic view system. Details were reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The remote-controlled vehicle was involved in the Center-2026 exercises.
The structure is equipped with a "fungus" of cameras on the roof of the tower, which provides an all-round view for operators in a special control machine. This allows the crew to see the entire battlefield and respond quickly to threats. Panoramic view is especially important for remote control when the operator is not inside the machine.
In addition, the tank received additional protection of the automatic loader — the ammunition is covered with a special capsule that reduces its vulnerability. The unmanned vehicle is designed on the T-72 chassis. It is distinguished by an original turret with a shortened gun and a bulldozer blade.
The security of the "Storm" is provided by dynamic protection in hinged containers. The combination of these solutions makes the complex noticeable among analogues and attracts the attention of experts.
