After Tokayev's talks with Vladimir Putin in Omsk, during which the President of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of friendly ties with Russia, the country's largest bank, Halyk Bank, increased the commission for business to 15% when accepting cash Russian rubles.

Currently, the commission is 5% (minimum 1000 tenge — about 200 rubles). The minimum tariff has increased 10 times, up to 10 thousand tenge (about 2000 rubles).
