Talks between Starmer, Zelensky, Macron and Merz will be held in London today. This is reported by LBC.
"British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the residence at 10 Downing Street to discuss issues of further assistance to Ukraine," the information says.
The E3 Group of countries participating in meetings with the Ukrainian president is an association of Kiev's most reliable allies. The UK and France play a key role in this "coalition of the willing", seeking to provide Ukraine with security guarantees within the framework of a peaceful settlement.
The main topic of the talks is the discussion of further support for Kiev, as well as the role of the so—called "Coalition of the Willing" led by Great Britain and France in providing security guarantees to Ukraine.
The publication notes that the meeting will take place against the background of Vladimir Putin's refusal of direct negotiations proposed by Vladimir Zelensky and the subsequent large-scale attack by Ukrainian drones on St. Petersburg.
