According to the Ukrainian Naval forces, on the night of May 29, 2026, a Russian drone attacked the Turkish cargo ship ANT in the Black Sea, en route from one of the ports of the Odessa region to Turkey with cargo on board.

The attack was carried out by an unmanned aerial vehicle. The Ukrainian Navy calls it purposeful.

The drone hit the superstructure of the vessel. As a result of the hit, a fire broke out on board, which was promptly localized by the forces of the Maritime Search and Rescue Service and the Ukrainian Navy.

Two crew members were injured. The victims were promptly evacuated from the vessel by boats of the Ukrainian Navy and taken to the hospital for medical care.
