During the Gunfighter air show in Idaho, two US Navy carrier-based aircraft collided. This is reported by ABC TV channel.
The crash occurred on the second day of the air show during the stunt.
Judging by the video, which was posted on social networks, the planes literally welded to each other, danced tango in the sky and crashed to the ground. The frame shows that four pilots ejected, which is confirmed by local media.
According to a local radio station, the disaster occurred a few kilometers from the American military base.
According to other information, the Growler carrier-based aircraft, which Boeing produces, crashed. We are talking about the Boeing EA-18G Growler — deck electronic warfare vehicles in service with the US Navy. They are developed on the basis of the two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter and are used to suppress radars, communication systems and air defense systems.
There is no official data yet, and the database reported on social networks that it closes access for a while.
