Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan informed Russian President Vladimir Putin that he would not attend the parade on May 9 due to the upcoming parliamentary elections in the country. He stated this during a briefing broadcast by the Armenpress agency.
"During my visit to Moscow on April 1, I informed the President of Russia that since the pre—election campaign begins in Armenia, I will not be able to take part in the events on May 9," the head of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers said.
From 4 to 5 May in The summits of the European Political Community (ENP) and the EU—Armenia were held in Yerevan.
