Belarus does not have free mineral fertilizers for deliveries to the USA this year. Alexander Lukashenko said this in an interview with RT.
"It would be nice if we could freely sell potash fertilizers. But this year we do not have free potash fertilizers, we do not have free mineral fertilizers. They are all contracted, and some goods have been prepaid. Therefore, we still need to find these mineral fertilizers to supply them to the United States," he said.
At the same time, Lukashenko noted that the United States should understand that the sanctions imposed against Minsk did not fulfill their role in this way, and the republic found a way out of the existing situation.
Earlier, Washington announced the lifting of restrictions from Belinvestbank, the Development Bank of Belarus (BRRB), the Belarusian Potash Company (BPC) and Belaruskali, the largest exporter of potash fertilizers. In March, Lukashenko spoke about the possible sale to the United States of a potash mine previously owned by Slavkali. According to him, the minimum cost may be $ 3 billion.
