Russia massively supplies the Spirit-030 compact satellite communication stations to the front after Starlink is turned off. This was reported in his telegram channel by advisor to the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Sergey Beskrestnov (Flash).
According to the adviser, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had satellite communication stations before, but they had large dimensions and were easily calculated by Ukrainian operators.
"Spirit-030 satellite terminals began to be delivered to the front ... it (terminal. — EADaily) is made portable and works with a special geostationary communications satellite, which allows using antennas not 90 centimeters in diameter, but 30. The Russians have now massively started supplying such terminals to the front," writes Flash.
As EADaily reported, the aerospace company Bureau 1440 (part of X Holding) launched the Russian Starlink into orbit — the first 16 satellites of the Rassvet group. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a source in the company.
Recall that in June last year it was reported that specialists of the separate communications battalion of the 144th Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Combined Arms Army of the Zapad group of forces began using new Spirit-030 satellite communication stations. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
It was noted that the antenna dish on the new station is significantly smaller than on previous versions, and, accordingly, less noticeable to the enemy.
