Kazakhstan does not rule out involvement in the Iranian war. The country's Defense Ministry has checked the combat readiness of its naval forces in the Caspian Sea. This was reported by the press service of the department.

According to the information, First Deputy Minister of Defense — Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanysh Abubakirov assessed the combat, technical and operational readiness of the Republic's naval forces (Navy).

"On the Oral rocket and artillery ship, he checked the readiness of weapons systems, navigation and radio equipment. In addition, the readiness of the Kaisar anti—sabotage boat and special forces to protect the Kazakh waters of the Caspian Sea and port zones from possible underwater and surface threats was checked," the statement said. MO RK.

During his speech, the Chief of the General Staff stressed that the Kazakh Navy plays a key role in maintaining regional stability, and that is why their modernization remains one of the priorities of the country's defense department.
