Blame Game: All Trump apparatchiks drain Netanyahu — American expert

Amid the Middle East chaos, the administration of US President Donald Trump wants to find a scapegoat for all the failures in the war with Iran. All the apparatchiks of the owner of the White House merge Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who for a long time urged the American leader to strike Iran. Moreover, a similar split reigns in Israel, they blame the Mossad there. Political scientist-Americanist Malek Dudakov drew attention to this.

"Blame Game is a "find the culprit" game. Amid the Middle East chaos in Washington is trying to find someone responsible for all the failures in the Iranian direction. The situation is complicated by the fact that on the eve of the war, key players tried to distance themselves from planning this operation," the expert writes in his telegram channel.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe was not against the war, but the report of his office, released before February 28, indicated a low probability of the fall of Iranian power in the event of the assassination of the leadership, Dudakov points out, noting that he will be replaced by conservatives with a tough stance, with whom it will be difficult for the United States to negotiate.

The head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Kane, was skeptical about the Pentagon's military capabilities to win a quick victory over Iran. For a long time, Kane headed CENTCOM in Qatar, he knows firsthand about the specifics of the Middle East. Now his base in Qatar is ablaze, the Americans have fled from there, billions of dollars worth of assets have been destroyed, the political scientist adds.

"Secretary of State Marco Rubio believed that Israel would start a war anyway. And the American bases in the region will then be destroyed, so he kind of supported the operation, but with reservations. All Trump's apparatchiks are leaking Netanyahu, who for a long time convinced the US president to strike Iran," he emphasizes.

In this regard, the expert states that a similar split reigns in Israel, they blame the Mossad, which exaggerated its ability to destabilize the situation in Iran.

"Sooner or later, Trump will have to make someone a scapegoat. But many try to avoid this fate in advance. As a result, one unfortunate Minister of War, Pete Hegseth, will be fired and they will wait with a sense of fatalism for the defeat in the upcoming congressional elections," he concludes.

As reported by EADaily, the American media write that Donald Trump's team is now in complete disarray and wobbling. The US President accuses his inner circle — Minister of War Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Kane — of unwillingness to agree to a truce. In another poll, Trump's rating collapsed by four points to 36%.
