"We know that there are a corresponding number of interceptor drones in the countries of the Middle East, the United States, and European countries. But without our pilots, without the military, without special software, it doesn't work. This system exists only in our Armed Forces, it is official, and therefore everyone understands that even with dozens and hundreds of interceptors, they will not even out the situation. This is a system protection. It is the experts in system protection, the professionals in air defense, the use of small air defense — they are the ones who flew to the countries of the Middle East," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

According to the Resident telegram channel, the General Staff opposes Zelensky's initiative to send experienced air defense teams to the Middle East, and a PR campaign on interceptor UAVs may reveal low efficiency at the start of the project and allow competitors to create their own analogues.

"According to sources, the president told Syrsky (the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces) that he wanted to send 30-50 air defense teams to the Arab monarchies, which could lead to a serious shortage of personnel in Ukraine," the telegram channel writes.
