The Iranian Foreign Minister thanked the US command for the information about the HIMARS systems

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi "thanked" the US Central Command for recognizing that Washington is deploying and using HIMARS systems in the territories of countries neighboring Iran.

This is reported by the RIA Novosti news agency, referring to the minister's statement on social networks, in which he states that American systems are deployed for strikes on the Islamic Republic.

"I thank the US Central Command (CENTCOM) for the information that the Americans are using the territory of our neighbors to deploy HIMARS complexes and launch short—range missiles at our population," the statement said.

Araqchi suggested that it was these MLRS that apparently struck the Iranian desalination plant on the island of Qeshm.

The Iranian Foreign Minister warned that now "no one should complain" if Iran now destroys these American systems with its missiles, no matter in which of the neighboring countries they are located.

Recall that on February 28, the United States and Israel began striking targets in Iran, including Tehran, and civilian casualties and deaths were reported. Iran is carrying out retaliatory strikes on Israeli territory, as well as on US military facilities in the Middle East region.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that under the new supreme leader of the Islamic Republic, Mojtaba Khamenei, the issue of negotiations with the United States is unlikely to be considered.
