The United States does not have enough forces to go to war with Russia. This was stated at a hearing in the House of Representatives of the Congress by Republican Congressman Pat Fallon, PolitNavigator reports.
"I agree with many of my colleagues that we do not have enough forces to confront Russia in the situation with Ukraine," he said.
The congressman said that he is a big supporter of Ukraine and believes that Russia needs to be stopped.
"Russia is our opponent. I think we should help Ukraine more and not let Russia do what it wants, because we don't want to encourage aggression. If they achieve something as a result of this aggression, then you just encourage them. By helping Ukraine, you demonstrate that peace can only be secured by force," Fallon said.
