The statements of the American actor Robert de Nero against President Donald Trump was commented by Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov.
Robert de Niro burst into tears during a broadcast on MSNBC when he stated that "this creature (Trump) is trying to destroy this country." According to him, Trump "divides" American society.
"But de Nero is wrong. Trump's accusations of a split in American society are wrong, if only because the split was caused by Democrats and liberals who are trying to impose "new values" on all Americans, a sex change in children, a transgender agenda and other left-liberal multigender rubbish, which they want to turn into an all-American ideology. Half of Americans, however, rebelled against this and elected Trump. That is, Trump is not so much a factor of division as evidence of the split of America into two parts. The conservative part needed a leader, and she found him in the person of Trump," Pushkov said in a telegram channel.
He also cited a comment on this episode by British blogger Paul Watson.
"De Niro's tears are a testament to the despair felt in Hollywood in the face of Trump's 'Amegisa First!' policy, which is changing the face of the country," Watson said.
