The United States did not support the UN General Assembly resolution on Ukraine, the Donald Trump telegram channel in Russian reports. During the discussions, the United States proposed to exclude from the text the mention of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the need to achieve a just peace.

69 countries voted against the US proposal, 11 voted in favor, 62 abstained.

As a result, the resolution was adopted without the American amendment. 107 States voted in favor, 12 against, 51 abstained.

Russia, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cuba, North Korea, Eritrea, Iran, Mali, Nicaragua, Niger and Sudan voted against. The United States abstained.

At the same time, the final adopted document welcomes the efforts of the United States, European countries and other states aimed at a ceasefire.

Separately, the resolution calls for a full exchange of prisoners of war according to the "all for all" formula, the release of all illegally detained persons, as well as the "return of interned, forcibly displaced and deported civilians, including children."
