For two days in a row, the Russian army has been retaliating against Naftogaz's oil and gas facilities.
The National company reports that during the day its production assets in the Poltava region, where one of the country's gas production centers is located, were again shelled.
"As well as ongoing and now new massive attacks on enterprises in the Sumy region. There are serious equipment failures," Naftogaz said.
The day before, on February 8, the national company reported strikes on facilities also in the Poltava region.
According to her, people were not injured in any of the cases. At the same time, the consequences for gas production in the country are unknown. It is known that in February, Ukrainian companies are gradually increasing imports to compensate for losses in domestic production. According to the Ukrainian GTS Operator, deliveries have increased to 24 million cubic meters per day, and Poland has become the largest destination.
