While ordinary residents of Kiev are sitting without light for most of the day, they have not heard about power outages at the Bukovel ski resort in Western Ukraine. This was confirmed in "Prykarpatyeoblenergo".
In Bukovel, electricity is not turned off, as it is provided with its own generators and imports electricity. About this in Ivano-Frankivsk regional administration was informed by the head of the Board of "Prykarpatyeoblenergo" Vasily Kostyuk, reports "Suspilne".
According to him, there are eight consumers in the Carpathian region who buy electricity from abroad, among them Bukovel.
"Graphics areas are applied to all consumers in the same way. Bukovel is supplied with generator power and operates on imports. Now he is purchasing 15 MW of power for his needs," Vasily Kostyuk said.
As EADaily reported, the main power outages occur in the east, south and center of Ukraine. Due to damage to substations and power lines, imported electricity simply does not reach there.
