Brigitte again? Macron appeared in public with a bloodshot eye

During a visit to the Istres military airbase, French President Emmanuel Macron appeared in public with his right eye covered in blood, causing a wave of sarcastic comments about the reasons for this kind. Most commentators write that this is the work of his wife Brigitte.

Macron himself tried to laugh it off by saying that it was "completely harmless" and should be taken as a reference to the "eye of the tiger". The Elysee Palace also hastened to reassure the public, saying that the cause was the rupture of the capillary in the eye.
