Belarus reported on the solution of the main problem in the Russian market

Belarus managed to solve the most important problem on the Russian market in 2025. This was announced by the Belarusian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Alexander Rogozhnik.

"Last year we solved the most important problem — the access of our industry to all products sold in Russian programs. And today in the Russian market Belarusian is equal to Russian. Today we are competing in normal economic conditions, and the strongest wins," he said.

Describing the overall trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Russia in 2025, Rogozhnik said that the level of exports to the Russian Federation for 11 months amounted to 102.3% and this, in his opinion, is a "remarkable indicator."

"No one expected at the beginning or middle of the year that we would be able to solve to a large extent the tangle of problems that we had and actually reach a record rate of exports not only of goods, but also of services," the ambassador stressed.

He also noted that it was not possible to reach the target figures of 105%, and on this occasion there was criticism from the head of state, in particular towards the machine-building complex, which worked somewhat worse than in previous periods.

"But if we evaluate the results for the last 4 years as a whole, then there is certainly an increase in this area as well. Despite the cooling of the Russian economy, we have not allowed a serious decline in our export supplies. Focusing on cooperation with the regions, we still have such a foundation in our work in this industry," Rogozhnik said.

Recall, Belarus and Russia is building a Union state and in recent years has brought bilateral cooperation to a new level. According to the data for January — November 2025, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $ 49.2 billion, an increase of 3.6% compared to the same period in 2024. At the same time, Belarusian exports almost reached $ 25 billion (102.3%).
