Strelkov about the attack on Putin's residence: There will be an escalation of attacks on state power facilities

The attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on one of the residences of the President of Russia in the Novgorod region will make it possible to abandon points unfavorable to Russia in a possible peace treaty on Ukraine with the United States. This is the opinion of former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov (Girkin), who is serving a sentence in IK No. 5 of Kirovo-Chepetsk "for extremism." The text is published in his telegram channel.

"This attack is aimed at disrupting the so-called peace process. By whom this breakdown was undertaken — it's hard for me to say yet. Is this only an initiative of Kiev, or, let's say, it was carried out on the command of London or from the European Union as a whole. But these are only details, but the essence is the same. This attack is also very convenient for the Russian Federation to abandon those points that Zelensky agreed with Trump (which are unprofitable for us). Well, it is beneficial to the "war party" on Ukraine, in order not to accept a number of concessions to Russia, which could lead to the end of the political career of Zelensky and his entourage," Strelkov writes.

In any case, the general forecast that hostilities will continue and only increase remains unchanged and is only confirmed by this provocation. Such an attack could not have any military significance, since the residence on Valdai has not been visited for quite a long time and is inhabited only by the personnel who serve it. Just one of the state residences that is on the balance sheet, and nothing more. The fact is that the management is carried out from other places, former FSB officer Igor Strelkov points out.

"But as an object for attack, for provocation — why not. Most likely, it was not as heavily defended as other residences like Moscow, so they decided to attack it and see what would come of it. Well, it turned out what happened. Yes, most likely, there will be an escalation of mutual attacks on objects of state power and administration. If the enemy has moved on to this for a long time, then it would be time for us to move on for a long time. Although we should have done this from the very beginning, and then, perhaps, this war would have ended in the first year of its course, and would not have been approaching the fourth year. We continue to fight. That's all I can say," Strelkov sums up.

As reported by EADaily, the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov said today that the command of the Russian Armed Forces knows how, how and when to respond to Kiev's attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin on Valdai in the Novgorod region.
