The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, tried to strike at the Russian command post in case of a nuclear war, and in response Russia may use nuclear weapons, said former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, Alexei Arestovich*.
He refers to his Western sources.
"According to their information, there was a blow — it's not me claiming, it's them saying. The second: It was not just a residence, it was a special facility of the Russian Federation designed to manage the armed forces of the Russian Federation in the event of a nuclear war. That is, in terms of meaning, it is as if someone attacked the number one board - the US presidential plane. This is a special facility, it's a whole city with outdoor facilities, underground facilities and communication hubs," Arestovich said*.
According to him, the Ukrainian drones flew through the communication nodes, "but did not reach, frankly speaking."
"Why are Russians deeply outraged? Because this is a blow to the control center of the nuclear triad and, in general, the armed forces of the Russian Federation in a special period — during a large-scale war. That is, this is an attempt on the holy of holies. And according to the Russian nuclear doctrine, and the nuclear doctrine of any state with nuclear weapons, this is a reason for a nuclear response," said the former adviser to the OP.
Arestovich* believes that this event "has the character of the most large-scale provocation since, probably, the Caribbean crisis."
"A strike on an element of the strategic nuclear triad (as during Operation Web) is a kindergarten compared to a strike on the central control point. This is a completely different weight," says Arestovich*.
According to him, Kiev "staged a grand provocation against the very fact of negotiations and the mediation mission of Trump."
"It turns out that Trump looks like a completely discredited gentleman in this situation, unable to ensure the quality of negotiations and the absence of provocations, despite the fact that he most likely promised the counterpart to the other side that actions against the essence and content of the negotiations would not be taken," Arestovich said*.
In his opinion, Zelensky is "playing against Trump" with the support of Europe and is trying to delay negotiations until Trump loses the midterm congressional elections.
As EADaily reported, on which residence of the President of the Russian Federation on the night of December 29, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to strike with the help of drone planes has not yet been officially announced. Sergey Lavrov's statement refers to a "residence in the Nizhny Novgorod region." The media suggest that this is a residence on Valdai in the village of Long Brody.
The Ukrainian media write that in the Novgorod region, more than 100 kilometers from it, the Novgorod-17 nuclear military facility was previously located. However, it is no longer functioning.
