American actor Steven Seagal said he intends to continue living and working in Russia. He stated this at the ceremony of awarding the laureates of the "We are Together" award at the National Center "Russia".
Seagal called the main advantage of Russians unity and willingness to support each other.
"The fact that you are all united and helping each other is very valuable. This is what makes Russia stand out," TASS quotes the artist.
The actor expressed gratitude for being given the opportunity to be part of the Russian people.
"I am proud to be Russian. If the Lord will give me the opportunity to stay in I will be grateful to Russia and continue my work here," Seagal said.
As reported by EADaily, earlier the action star expressed his willingness to act in Russian cinema.
According to the artist, he would like to return to the cinema and is ready to do it in a Russian film.
Seagal added that he already has the corresponding preliminary plans, but he did not disclose the details.
