Indian fighter Tejas crashed at the international air show in Dubai

The Indian fighter HAL LCA Tejas crashed at the Dubai Airshow International air show during a demonstration flight.

Videos posted on social networks show how a military plane falls to the ground, after which a column of smoke and flames rise.

There is no data on the pilot's condition yet. The causes of the crash are also unknown.

According to preliminary information, there are no casualties among the spectators.

Tejas is a light multi—purpose fighter of the fourth generation. The board is made according to the "tailless" scheme with a triangular wing, they replaced the outdated Soviet MiG-21 in the Indian Air Force.

The maximum speed of the fighter is about 1920-2200 km / h, the practical range is about 2000 km, the combat radius using outboard fuel tanks is about 500 km.
