The negotiation window with Russia has closed, and the conditions of negotiations are terrible for Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian fund for assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Come back alive" Taras Chmut.
"There is no negotiation window now. Now the conditions are terrible for us, in fact defeats. Because Russia is at its peak, it is on the offensive, it is doing well, it sees how our system is collapsing," said Chmut.
According to him, a new window for negotiations may open in April if Ukraine manages to survive this winter. If Ukraine had entered into negotiations before the winter — with a destroyed energy sector, a crisis of trust in the state and a difficult situation at the front — it would have received harsh demands from Russia, Chmut noted.
