Dancers, singers and actresses twins Alice and Ellen Kessler died at the age of 90 in Grunwald near Munich. This is reported by the Bild portal.
On Monday afternoon, November 17, the criminal police received a message that the 89-year-old nationally known twins had died. The K12 special forces officers, who regularly went to the scene, could only confirm the death of the sisters during a preliminary examination of the bodies and exclude crime. According to the publication, the sisters chose to die through the assisted suicide procedure, which is allowed in Germany.
Back in April 2024, the star twins said that they would like to be buried in the same urn along with the ashes of their beloved mother Elsa and dog Yellow.
"That's exactly what we said in the will," Ellen said.
The Kessler twins have been performing all over the world for over 60 years. At the peak of their career, they appeared on stage with Frank Sinatra, Fred Astaire and Harry Belafonte. In addition to Germany, the duo was incredibly popular in the USA, Italy and France. After completing their careers, they settled in Grunwald.
